Seven Hills Tallarook Farm Stay is a family run business which is homed on our 600-acre goat farm. We cater for any group, in any configuration, for any occasion. We are based one hour North of Melbourne CBD, five minutes of the Hume Highway. Summer is perfect to lounge by the pool and winter is just as perfect to light bonfire and enjoy a BBQ and beer.

Our farm and farm stay accommodation are run using sustainable energy. We use sustainable energy to produce our own electricity by harnessing wind and solar power. Our pristine water comes from captured rain water, underground springs and natural river systems.

Seven Hills Tallarook is a commercial working farm, where we supply local farmer’s markets and the Melbourne restaurant trade with high quality, farm fresh, pasture fed goat meat. We like to provide our guests with an experience where we use modern and state of the art technology while upholding traditional farming values. We like our guests to be involved as much as they desire to have the opportunity to see how our animals are raised and be involved in the management and handling of the farm. We home over 1500 South African Boer Goats, sheep, alpacas, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys. We have two pet dogs, Ash and Lucy and a pet cat, Niam. Of late, we have kangaroos who visit us daily for bread. Our rivers and dams hold yabbies and wide variety of fish. As dusk settles, our farm turns into a nocturnal wildlife park.

Our farm stay accommodation is based from two separate dwellings, our main Homestead and our cottage. Our homestead boosts incredible 360 degree views over Seymour, Broadford and the Tallarook ranges. The homestead provides accommodation for up to 16 people through six bedrooms. Our cottage is in the heart of the farm, surrounded by paddocks of animals and bush, which sleeps up to 7 guests.

We welcome guests with all pets, including horses. Our property is set up for horse riders, with tie down posts throughout.

The Seven Hills Homestead has been recently renovated and extended to cater for large groups or families, it offers 6 luxurious bedrooms, 2 including en-suite, 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 lounge rooms, swimming pool, spa and effortless BBQ area. One room is dedicated to children and can sleep 3 comfortably in a friendly environment.

A horse shoe homestead surrounds a large swimming pool & courtyard, including a spa and BBQ area. The homestead boasts breathtaking three hundred and sixty degree panoramic views. Every sunset is unique as the views stretch to the horizon.

Seven Hills Bed and breakfast is situated on the South wing of the homestead, offering Queen Size luxurious bedroom, ensuite, lounge room, dining and kitchen. Plasma TV including DVD and Austar. With full access to the BBQ courtyard and Swimming Pool. Up to three additional rooms and extra bathroom can be opened up on request

Bed and Breakfast packages can be tailored for the most romantic getaway. Seven Hills can cater for candle light sunset dinners, both at the home stead or on one of the Seven secluded Hill tops and there is nothing better than waking up to freshly laid eggs served for breakfast.

Terms & Conditions

The Seven Hills Homestead requires full payment upfront to secure a booking.

The Seven Hills South Wing requires a 50% deposit to be paid to secure the booking and the remaining payment is payable a week before check in.

The Seven Hills Cottage requires a 50% deposit to be paid to secure the booking and the remaining payment is payable a week before check in.

All one day bookings, will require an upfront payment.

Payment can be made by any major credit card. Note that American Express and Diners Club attract a 3% surcharge.

Payment can be made by direct debit upon request.

No refunds are available under personal reasons or natural disasters.

During high season periods (the entire months of December, January and February, all school holidays, long weekends and bank holidays etc.) all payments for all accommodations must be paid in full upon booking,

Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking will result in your full amount being fortified.

Bookings must be paid be 72 hours before you arrival.

Deposits and full payments for the homestead are not refundable.

We reserve the right to invoice guests after their stay, if we find any severe damage has been made to the homestead and/or property. More importantly, when we have to call out any workmen (if we are unable to carry out such tasks ourselves)

Cancellations within 24 hours of your booking will result in a your full amount being forfeited.

Bookings must be paid in full 72 hours prior to arrival.
