Nautilus Apartments are positioned right in the heart of Huskisson on Owen Street – the hub of Jervis Bay. It offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Our apartment complex sleeps a maximum of 30 people and consists of a studio, two, three and four bedroom self contained apartments. Each of our apartments has something different to offer, but one thing they do have in common is space, natural light and a beautiful sea breeze.

The apartments are very spacious, and most face north, allowing for a nice cross breeze not to mention great views of Jervis Bay from the balconies. Each apartment has it’s own private courtyard with BBQ and outdoor table setting, perfect for entertaining on those warm summer nights! If you don’t feel like eating in, leave your keys behind and take a walk down Owen Street where you will find numerous restaurants, cafes, wine bars and the newly renovated pub “The Huskisson”.

Dolphin and Whale Watching Cruises are just metres away, as are the famous white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay.

The Studio Room is newly renovated and resembles a modern hotel style room. It is on the ground level of the Nautilus Apartments complex and faces Owen Street (the main street of Huskisson).

The room includes a quality queen size bed, bedside tables, lamps, flat screen TV, DVD player, alarm clock/ipod stereo, pedestal fan & bar heater, luggage & hanging racks, small table and chairs, kitchenette and bathroom. Basic amenities are supplied to get you started (tea, coffee, small milks, toilet paper, salt, pepper, sugar, soap etc). The kitchenette includes a microwave, toaster, kettle, plates & cutlery and small bar fridge. Quality linen and towels are supplied and the queen bed is made for the arrival of guests. We have two 3 bedroom apartments, both are the same size. The apartments face north and have great views over Jervis Bay and Currambene Creek.

They are very spacious apartments, stretching over 3 floors with reverse cycle air conditioning located on the middle floor. The apartments all have a laundry, courtyard area complete with BBQ and outdoor setting, lounge/dining, full kitchen, bathroom (complete with separate bath and shower), separate toilet, tri-bunk bedroom (double on bottom and single on top), second queen bedroom which opens out onto ground floor courtyard and a mezzanine floor (3rd floor) which holds the master bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom complete with excellent views of the bay. The lounge room opens out onto a timber deck with views of Jervis Bay.

This apartment is located on the southern side of the complex with views of the main street of Huskisson.

Entry is via ground floor where the laundry facilities are located and you then continue up one flight of stairs to the rest of the apartment that is spread across the top floor. Once you have accessed the top floor there are no further stairs, making it easier to get around all living and bedroom areas, which can be ideal for the elderly or for families with young children.

The apartment has great cross ventilation as well as reverse cycle air conditioning. The top floor consists of the kitchen, large lounge room with dining and double sliding door access to a large north facing outdoor courtyard complete with outdoor setting and gas BBQ.

This floor also has a main bathroom (complete with separate bath and shower) and the bedrooms consist of a single bunk bedroom, a tri-bunk bedroom (double plus single bunk bed as one), a queen bedroom with balcony facing Owen Street, and the master queen bedroom with en-suite bathroom which also has access to the large courtyard via sliding glass doors.

Terms & Conditions

1) PAYMENT TERMS
Upon making a booking, a 50% deposit will be deducted from your credit card. If the booking is within the month then full payment will be required at the time of booking which will be deducted from the credit card at the time of booking.

If deposit only is taken then the final payment will then be deducted from the same credit card 7 days prior to your arrival at the property (unless you advise an alternative payment method) or 14 days prior if it’s a peak period booking. Check-in details will then be emailed to you once final payment has been received and the bond security form has been completed and returned to us.

Mastercard and Visa are the only credit cards accepted. These standard cards incur a 2% fee. Premium and international visa/mastercards incur a higher fee which will be advised at time of booking.

2) CANCELLATIONS
All cancellation requests must be in writing and will incur a $50 cancellation/admin fee.

For all bookings outside of Peak Season: Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit total deposit. Cancellation within 48 hours of arrival will forfeit full payment.

Peak Season Bookings: Cancellations within 1 month of arrival for Christmas weekly bookings will forfeit total deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will forfeit full payment.

3) LOSS AND DAMAGE
When making this booking you agree to our terms and conditions listed on our website. The guest accepts responsibility for and agrees to indemnify the owner against any loss or damage to the premises or contents caused by them or guests of theirs during the guest’s occupancy. The guest must report any damages, breakages or lost items (including keys) immediately to Nautilus Apartments management.

4) SECURITY BOND
When making this booking you are authorising Nautilus Apartments management to hold your credit card details for the bond security deposit of $300. The owner is authorised to spend funds from the bond to cover damage or loss caused to the premises or contents by the tenant during the stay. The guest will be advised accordingly via email of any claim being made on their security bond. The guest must fill in a bond security authorisation form which will be emailed to you once the booking is confirmed. We cannot give you access to the property without this completed form.

5) NO PARTY POLICY
Nautilus Apartments has a strict NO PARTY POLICY and operates an 11pm curfew on all of the outdoor courtyard areas. The number of guests gathered in the apartment overnight (i.e. after 9pm) must not exceed the sleeping capacity of the apartment. Any persons exceeding this number will be considered trespassers. Noise must be kept to a minimum level at all times. If any noise complaints are received from the neighbouring residents you will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Your accommodation tariff will not be refunded. Your security deposit may not be refunded.

6) CLEANING, BBQ & EXCESS GARBAGE
It is the occupant’s responsibility to ensure that the property is left in a clean and tidy manner. The dishwasher is to be left empty and dishes put away in cupboards. Bench tops are to be left clean and clear. All furniture must be left in original position. BBQs and their utensils must be left clean. Please turn off the gas after use. Excess garbage is your responsibility, and must be disposed of on departure. Each apartment has its own numbered bins. The red bin is for household waste and the yellow bin is for recycling (for cardboard, glass, paper and glass only).

Failure to comply with the above will result in an additional cleaning fee of $50.00, which will be deducted from the bond. If the cleaning is excessive, the fee will be higher and will be advised at the time (photos will also be supplied to you).

7) OCCUPANCY RULES
The following conditions apply to all guests occupying the premises:
(a) Seafood is not to be gutted, scaled or cleaned at the property. Seafood scraps are not to be left behind in bins, please freeze them and take them with you on departure.
(b) Strictly no pets are allowed
(c) Strictly no smoking on the premises
(c) No person on the premises shall be guilty of conduct that is a nuisance to adjoining or neighbouring occupiers. Excess noise is not permitted after 11pm under any circumstance. Nautilus Management reserves to right to evict guests who are found to be violating the noise curfew of 11pm. All courtyard areas need to be vacated by this time to avoid disruption to other guests.
(d) No responsibility is taken for the occupants personal property left at the premises.
(e) The number of occupant's MUST NOT exceed the number advertised and prescribed on booking. Failure to comply will result in termination of this agreement.
(f) The premises shall be occupied solely for residential purpose by those persons listed on the booking The premises shall not be used as a venue for social functions, including but not limited to weddings, parties, receptions or any other social gathering for more than 10 people.

8) MAINTENANCE
The guest agrees to allow the owner or his nominee to enter the premises to arrange any necessary maintenance repairs. Any area of the property, which is locked and for which a key has not been supplied is private and not for tenants use. Anyone gaining unlawful access to a private area shall be found to be in breach of this agreement and legal action may be taken.

9) GOOD FAITH
In regards to telephone, postal bookings or email enquiries, our descriptions are made in good faith.

10) FAILURE TO COMPLY
Failure to comply with the above mentioned conditions will result in immediate termination of the guest’s tenancy and forfeit of any rental monies paid including bond.
