Conditions of Stay
Please read these conditions carefully. The person signing these conditions, the guest, acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any invitee occupying or visiting the apartment or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the guest.
1. Bookings: Upon booking, a deposit of the first nights tariff will be charged to your credit card. The balance of the accommodation charges will be processed upon check-in.
2. Photographic ID: For security purposes the guest must provide a valid federal or state government issued photographic ID at check-in. In addition, the guest must provide a credit card in the name of the photographic ID to secure the accommodation. A pre-authorisation of up to $500.00 may be placed onto your credit card. The pre-authorization acts as a security bond to cover any incidental items including, but not limited to: telephone calls, breakages, damages within the unit, car park or common areas, additional cleaning charges, etc. By signing this Registration Card, I understand this authorisation may be used to cover additional and any incidental costs that may occur during this stay and the pre-authorisation amount will be held from my account and will be automatically released by the issuing financial institution.
3. Guests Behaviour: Guests and invitees are expected to behave in a manner which is conductive to the safety, comfort and convenience of other guests and residences within the property. Reasonable direction of the Manager on duty must be complied with by the guest and invitee. A breach of rules may result in eviction of the offender or offenders entirely at the discretion of the Manager on duty.
4. Liability: This establishment shall not be liable to any guest for any loss, damage or destruction to any property brought upon these premises by the said guest or invitee. Without limiting the forgoing, personal property shall include, but is not limited to, money, jewellery, other personal effects or motor vehicles parked on the premises.
5. No Party Policy: There is a strict NO PARTY POLICY which will be enforced.
The apartments must not be used for any unlawful purpose.
To ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities we offer, Jesmond Executive Villas upholds a strict zero tolerance to parties, inappropriate language or excessive noise.
Any person found to be on our premises creating excessive noise, using inappropriate language, having a party or exceeding the numbers of permitted guests will be evicted immediately.
The police may be contacted and guests will be financially liable for any damage caused. Guests who are displaying drunk, disorderly and generally aggressive or rude behaviour towards the Manager, other guests or neighbours will also face immediate eviction with no warning. If a guest is found to have breached the policy, no refund will be given. The guest will also be automatically black-listed from Jesmond Executive Villas and other affiliated motel establishments for any future reservation.
We ask that you contact Reception should you experience other guests causing you discomfort.
6. Lost Keys: Any loss of apartment keys, security cards will incur replacement fees of $70 per card, payable by guest or invitee.
7. Non Smoking: This is a NON SMOKING building. Evidence of smoking within apartments will result in an addition cleaning charge of $150.00 payable by guest or invitee.
8. Cancellation Policy. The company upholds a 72-hour cancellation policy. If the guest cancels within 72 hours of arrival, the guest forfeits the full amount of the accommodation tariff capped at 7 days.
9. Amended or Cancellation of Bookings after check-in: If this occurs at any time during the course of the stay, management reserves the right to charge the nightly rate listed according to the actual length of stay.
10. Responsibility for Charges: The guest signing this registration card and or occupying the accommodation or utilising other services shall be responsible for all charges including accommodation costs, addition expenses, item replacements and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the apartment, car park or common areas.
11. Failure to Pay Account: I understand that failure to pay the account will result in a claim for outstanding debts under the Jurisdiction of appropriate courts in all Australian States and Territories.
12. Rates: Rates may be subject to change.
13. Credit Card Surcharge: Amex and Diners 3% applies, Visa and MasterCard 1% applies, cash and Eftpos no surcharge.
Newcastle Executive Apartments upholds a 72-hour cancellation policy. If the customer cancels within 72 hours of arrival, the cancellation fee is the deposit paid. If reception is given adequate notification the deposit will be refunded to your specified credit card.
