Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions as stated and agreed by all parties on occupation of this property.

1. Bookings are not confirmed until you have been contacted by the agent, Jindabyne Real Estate. The card provided on the booking will be charged once the booking is processed by Jindabyne Real Estate. If the property is not available you will not be charged and the agent will do everything possible to find you an alternative.

2. The premises are rented to you for holiday purposes only and for the period stated on the payment receipt. Check in time is from 3.00pm on the day of arrival and check out is 10.00am on the day of departure. Keys must be returned to the office on departure. PLEASE NOTE due to cleaning workloads in winter, delays may be experienced for check in times.

3. All reservations require a 50% deposit of the total value of the booking when making the booking to confirm the reservation. The 50% balance is due for payment 30 days prior to the arrival date. Reservations made less than 30 days from arrival require full payment to confirm. Reservation deposits can be made by direct deposit in our Trust Account, credit card (we accept Visa and MasterCard) money order, cash or bank cheque. Personal cheques will only be accepted with 3 weeks clearance or by prior arrangement. A booking fee applies to all bookings and is payable on initial deposit. A 1% credit card fee will apply to all bookings when payment is made via VISA or MASTERCARD

4. Cancellation Policy- bookings cancelled more than 60 days prior to arrival date will incur a loss of the total booking fee paid. Bookings cancelled 30-60 days prior to arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of total invoice value. Bookings cancelled less than 30 days prior to arrival date will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of total invoice value. PLEASE NOTE changing your property is also considered a cancelation as properties are owned by individual owners.

5. Each reservation is subject to a Security Bond. This is covered by a valid credit card or $400.00 cash on arrival. (This will be refunded by cheque within 10days after inspection of the property.) The bond covers cleaning outside normal requirements, excessive garbage, damage, breakage/s, loss of property, lost keys and late departure. No credit card or cash bond, no key.

6. The premises must be kept in a tidy state and the number of occupants must not exceed the number of beds, or the number of same as stated on the confirmation. Failure to abide by this condition can result in additional charges or vacation of the property by you.

7. The property is offered to you in a clean and functional condition. On departure the property is to be left in a clean, tidy condition with excess garbage put in rubbish bins. An Additional charge will be made for cleaning considered being in excess of normal, excessive rubbish removal, and loss/non return of keys.

8. All damages, breakages or losses incurred during your time of occupancy are your responsibility and must be reported and paid for by you. If same is unreported and found following your departure the cost will be charged to your credit card as provided by you for the bond. An inspection of the premises can be made upon demand by the owner or agent should the need arise.

9. Under NO circumstances are animals or related species permitted on or inside the premises. Should this condition be ignored any damage, excess cleaning etc. due to the animal/s shall be the responsibility of the tenant.

10. Acceptance of this booking is made in good faith by this agency but may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control. In this event every reasonable endeavour will be made to find alternative accommodation.

11. For your security and safety please ensure that all windows and doors are securely locked when leaving the premises as weather conditions can change suddenly, causing damage to personal and owners’ property. Attention needs to be given to the security of the property due to the high incidence of crime in holiday seasons. No responsibility is taken by the agent or the owner/s for the tenants’ personal property.

12. Strata by-laws and council regulations must be complied with. We ask that consideration be given to other guests in respect of noise, parking and other issues that affect the peaceful enjoyment of others. A copy of the regulation by-laws as determined by the Strata Schemes Management Act 1996 should be kept in the unit for your knowledge.

13. Owners have the right to cancel any booking should they wish to utilize their property at the same time. Jindabyne Real Estate & Holidays will endeavour to relocate your booking to a similar property where possible at no extra cost, however no guarantees are made.

14. Jindabyne Real Estate participates in the Bad Book register. By accepting this booking you hereby agree that if you or any occupant covered by this booking, including any guests, breach our Terms and Conditions your Name, Phone Number and Email address along with details of the breach/breaches may be disclosed to the property landlord and/or other agents participating in the Bad Book register. Jindabyne Real Estate reserves the right to cancel a booking where a guest may be registered on Bad Books.
