Home Away Stayz offers fully furnished self contained accommodation in Hamilton, Victoria. There are two cottages available; Wisteria Cottage and Camellia Cottage.

Wisteria Cottage is three blocks from the CBD and close to Hamilton College, the Showgrounds and Hamilton Hospital.

Camellia Cottage is the bigger sister to Wisteria Cottage and is only a block from the Post Office - the perfect location! Both are in very quiet streets and close to everything.

Wisteria Cottage is your home away from home. Everything is supplied to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Our 3 Bedroom newly renovated fully furnished house accommodates six people (two Queen beds and two singles). The bedrooms are generously proportioned and contain all the furniture and bedding you require. All bed linen is supplied and ready for you.

In the lounge room, put your feet up in front of the 32 inch LCD TV and feel right at home. The gas log fire makes it warm and cosy during the winter months. A split system offers air conditioning in summer and additional heating in winter. Wisteria Cottage boasts a beautifully large kitchen with black granite bench tops, dishwasher, microwave and 900mm large La Germania stainless steel stove. A fully stocked kitchen including cooking utensils, saucepans, cutlery and crockery is there for your convenience. The new luxury bathroom has an extra large shower and extra large bath sheets are provided. A fully equipped laundry, including washing machine and dryer, takes the hassle out of getting the washing done.

The dining area, complete with dining table and black leather chairs, has delightful French doors overlooking the stunning back garden.

Outside the back yard is a delightfully large oasis where you can kick back and relax under the shady trees. There is plenty of room for the kids to play. Secure parking is a breeze with undercover parking which will accommodate two vehicles.

Wisteria Cottage is serviced weekly so you don’t even have to worry about the cleaning or mowing the lawns. Located only three short blocks from the CBD, four blocks from the hospital, and half a block from Hamilton College, Wisteria Cottage is situated in a quiet street, close to everything. It is a smoke-free property and pets are not catered for.

Camellia Cottage offers superior accommodation in Hamilton Victoria. It is the bigger sister to Wisteria Cottage.

Boasting three large queen size bedrooms and two bathrooms, it is the ultimate in luxury accommodation and only one block from the Post Office on Church Hill.

The house was built around 1900 and has been lovingly restored to its former glory - but with added bonus of updated amenities. Each of the three bedrooms are large and easily accommodate a Queen size bed with room to spare. The original pine lining boards have been rejuvenated and add a lovely warmth and depth to each room. All bed linen and manchester is supplied. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite with extra large luxury shower. There is a second bathroom which also has a large 1200 x 900mm shower and a timber vanity with granite benchtop. Fluffy white towels add that extra to your bathing experience.

Relax and put your feet up in the spacious lounge in front of a cosy and surprisingly warm gas log fire. Great for those winter evenings. There is also a split system to ensure your comfort all year round.

The jarrah kitchen with caeser stone benchtops provide a great facility if you feel like undertaking some home cooking. The kitchen is well equipped, including cooking utensils, saucepans, cutlery and crockery to meet your needs. If you dont feel like cooking you are only a block away from the CBD with the best restaurants.

A fully equipped laundry, including washing machine and dryer, takes the hassle out of getting the washing done.

The dining area overlooks the huge private back yard which is delightfully landscaped with roses, perennials and fruit trees. An added bonus is the chook shed down the back. Wander down and say hello to the girls and pick up your own fresh eggs for breakfast!

Terms & Conditions

Full payment at time of booking.

General rules
It is your responsibility to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before making a booking and paying a deposit.
A breach of these Terms and Conditions by you and or your guests may result in, but is not limited to, you being evicted from the Premises, losing your bond and/or monies paid (or owed) by you.
Use of the Premises for any event or use other than as residential holiday or corporate accommodation will result in the immediate termination of the booking for the Premises, removal of the guest(s) and other occupants from the Premises and other costs or expenses (including a function/extra cleaning fee) being charged to the guest’s credit card. If insufficient funds are available; the debt will be passed onto a debt collecting company or the courts for the debt plus recovery costs.
-Please respect the neighbours and maintain noise at a reasonable level and, in particular, between 10pm and 8am.
-Please dispose of garbage and recycling in accordance with the usual practice at the property and in the allocated bins.
At Wisteria - General rubbish (green bin) night is Monday. Recyclable rubbish (red bin) night is Tuesday.
At Camellia - General rubbish (green bin) night is Wednesday. Recyclable rubbish (red bin) night is Thursday.
Please put the bin out with the wheels facing away from the road.

Termination by agent
If the Premises becomes unavailable for occupancy before or during your stay for any reason (i.e. damage to the Premises, carrying out emergency Repairs, sale of the Premises by the owner, the termination of our appointment to act as Agent for the Premises or any other eventually), we will endeavour to find suitable alternative arrangements for your stay. If satisfactory alternative arrangements cannot be made, we will refund monies paid for the whole or part of the booking not fulfilled.
- We cannot be held responsible should a property be listed for sale, sold or the Agent’s appointment to act is terminated and your booking is cancelled
Use of Premises
On departure, please ensure the property is left in a similar state to what you found it in.
Please ensure;
• all the dishes washed and put away
• any furniture that has been moved is to be returned to its original position
Extra hourly charge for cleaning is $28 an hr Monday to Friday, $38 an hr on Saturdays and $48 an hour on Public Holidays and Sundays. Any other extra cleaning such as carpet cleaning will be charged as per invoice to us. You authorise us to charge you for the additional costs we incur to clean the premises on your departure if this condition is not observed.
Animals and pets are not permitted on or in the premises, in breach of this condition you will be asked to leave and a commercial cleaning fee will be charged and passed onto you.
Home Away Stayz does not take any responsibility for the loss or theft of your personal property or for any bodily injury that occurs on or at the Premises.
You must not use the Premises for any unlawful purpose.

Breakages or Damages.
You will be held responsible for any damage, breakages, theft or loss of any property on or in the Premises during your stay (including keys and remote controls). If any property is affected in this manner, you will be responsible for all related costs for the repair or replacement of the affected property. You authorise us to deduct these costs from your bond (if any), monies paid (or owed) by you and if further required, charge your credit card accordingly or issue a bill if this amount exceeds your bond and no credit card is supplied.

Parties and other entertaining
Everyone likes to entertain but we cannot tolerate situations that are deemed to be a party which may adversely affect neighbours or damage the property. A party being defined as:
-Any situation where the maximum number of guests allowed is exceeded
-Any situation where the noise level from the Premises is deemed too high thereby disturbing other guests and/or residents
-Any situation where it is deemed that intoxication is occurring
-Any situation where it is identified that excessive alcohol is present
If the property is identified as having a party or function we reserve the right to immediately request all occupants of the Premises to vacate the Premises and terminate the stay. In such a situation, the Total Booking Fee will be forfeited. In addition any expense resulting from additional cleaning, replacement of any furniture/fixture/breakage, including lost keys as well as any repairs will be deducted from the bond or charged to your credit card. If there is any loss of rent or income due to the property being under repair or uninhabitable you will also be responsible for these charges until such a time that the property is available to be re let.
Poo Policy
Due to necessity we have had to introduce our ‘poo policy’. Face washers are aptly named for washing faces – not poo-ey bottoms. If you need to wipe faecal matter from the behind area, please use toilet paper and flush down the toilet. Please do not use face washers. We suggest if you have children to please bring disposable wet wipes, place offending article in a bag and dispose of properly in the bin. If you have been caught short and already used a face washer, we suggest you wrap up the face washer in a bag and dispose of it in the bin. Then go to Target and buy a new white face washer to replace the one disposed of. If you leave behind face washers with poo on them and they are not replaced, you will be charged an extra fee of $50. You may think this charge is steep but please – I don’t expect you to handle my poo – so don’t expect me to handle yours. If you are a face washer user – you can be assured we dispose of poo-ey face washers and our face washers are truly clean and for washing faces.

For reservations shorter than one week: Your accommodation payment will be refunded, provided seven days or more notice is given. There is a one night penalty charge for cancelling three to seven days before arrival and a 50% penalty charge applies for cancellation within three days.
Cancellations on the day of arrival or early departures which are not the fault of Home Away Stayz are not eligible for any refund.
For stays between 1‐2 weeks; If you cancel within two weeks of your reservation you are liable for 50% of your rental fee and within one week you are liable for 100% of your rental fee.
For reservations longer than two weeks: If you cancel within two weeks of your reservation you are liable for 50% of your rental fee. If you cancel within one week you are liable for 100% of your rental fee. If your booking exceeds 28 days, charges will not be incurred after the 28 day period.
Cancellation fees will automatically be charged to the credit card provided.
