All villas are air-conditioned and include bougainvillea-covered verandahs, private en suites and kitchenette facilities. The hotel offers outstanding value for the visitor wanting comfort at an affordable price.

We're located in the main accommodation centre of Alice Springs on the banks of the Todd River, close to town, Lasseters Casino - Alice Springs entertainment hot spot, the Convention Centre and the Alice Springs Golf Club is our backyard.

Some of the best restaurants in Alice Springs are within meters of the Desert Palms. These include the Golf Course Club House, Hanumans (Indian/Thai), The Deck Eatery & Bar at the Double Tree by Hilton and four restaurants at Lasseters Casino including the Juicy Rump.

We offer a small kiosk/shop on-site where food items and liquor can be purchased, a guest laundry, BBQ area, secure gated off street parking directly outside each villa and FREE Wifi in rooms and throughout the property.

During peak periods the Desert Palms will ask for a first night non-refundable deposit to secure reservations.

Rooms are not serviced on Sundays and Public Holidays. Fresh towels and coffee/tea/milk are available from reception.

Guest arriving after 8.00pm please contact reception before this time so arrangements can be made for gate and room access.

Any Personal Data provided to us in connection with job applications may be used to consider the applicant for current and future employment and may be disclosed to our third party advisors to assist us in the selection and recruitment process.

The Desert Palms Alice Springs will accept your cancellation without penalty up to 48 hours before your arrival. This is defined as being before 2pm (the hotel check-in time) two days before you are due to stay. Failure to arrive will result in a no show charge. Cancellation / no show fee equals the first night of your stay. A 10% fee will apply to all prepaid deposits if the booking is cancelled.
