Terms & Conditions
These terms govern the supply of accommodation from Campus Living Villages NZ Ltd (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) to the customer (‘you’, ‘your’). These terms shall prevail over any terms contained in any order or offer made by you or any document used by you (which shall have no effect).
Making a reservation
This website and the information on it is not an offer to supply accommodation. When you submit a reservation for accommodation (a ‘Reservation’), this constitutes an offer from you to purchase accommodation in accordance with these terms. Only when we have accepted your Reservation by notifying you in accordance with the ‘confirmation’ section below will a contract be formed between you and us.
You may request accommodation with us by completing and submitting the reservation form to us and providing us with all details that we request for the Reservation including, without limitation, the date on which you intend to arrive at the relevant accommodation location (‘Arrival Date’).
There are two types of Reservation namely ‘Single Booking’ and ‘Group Booking’.
A Single Booking is a Reservation for a single 3, 4, 5 or 6 bedroom apartment.
A Group Booking is a Reservation for a group of 10 or more persons to stay at one site at one time.
The number of guests in an individual apartment must not exceed the number of bed spaces (e.g. must be no more than one guest per single bed and two guests per double bed).
No reservation will be deemed accepted by us until we have sent you a conformation of the reservation. We will endeavour to notify you whether we have accepted or rejected your Reservation and, if applicable, to conform the details of your Reservation within 3 days.
We reserve the exclusive right to accept or reject (for any reason whatsoever) any Reservation submitted by you. If we reject your Reservation, any money paid by you in relation to that Reservation will be refunded and we will have no further liability to you in relation to that reservation.
You agree to pay for a Reservation by authorising us to charge your credit card account (‘Credit Card’) for the total amount of the charges for the Reservation. If there is a problem with any payment (for example, if a transaction using your Credit Card is declined), we may contact you to make alternative payment arrangements.
Where a Reservation is a Single Booking, you must pay all amounts for that Reservation in full at the time of making the Reservation.
Where a Reservation is a Group Booking, you must pay a non-refundable deposit of 20% - 50% (as specified by us at the time of your making the Reservation) of the total amount for that Reservation at the time of your making the Reservation. You must pay the outstanding balance for the Reservation in full no later than 5 Working Days prior to the Arrival Date. Once paid to us all charges are non-refundable. Our Village Manager may, at our Village Manager’s absolute discretion, give approval for you to make payments in arrears upon receipt of our invoice.
The charges payable by you for any Reservation made by you shall be the charges quoted on this website at the time the Reservation is submitted.
The charges for all accommodation advertised on this website are stated and are payable in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
Taxes and other charges:
All charges are inclusive of New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (‘GST’) at the rate applicable at the time of supply. Except for GST, charges do not include fees, duties, tariffs, taxes or other imposts or charges (if any) which may be payable in relation to your Reservation. You shall be liable to pay any fees, duties, taxes, and other imposts or charges other than GST which are payable in relation to your Reservation.
Incorrect price information:
Where accommodation is listed on this website with an incorrect charge or with incorrect information, we reserve the right to cancel your Reservation (regardless of whether you have made payment for that Reservation). Where you have already made payment for a Reservation that is subsequently cancelled by us, we will refund all amounts paid by you in relation to that Reservation.
Changes to the charges:
We may vary any charges on this website at any time and without notice to you.
If you wish to cancel a Reservation you must give us notice of the cancellation no later than 5 Working Days before the Arrival Date.
If you give us notice of your wish to cancel a Reservation 5 Working Days or more before the Arrival Date, we will not charge to the Credit Card any amounts that are unpaid for that Reservation as at the date of your notification and will refund amounts already charged to the Credit Card for that Reservation by processing a refund to the Credit Card. If you fail to give us notice of your wish to cancel a Reservation in accordance with the Cancellation Policy above or if you do not arrive at the agreed accommodation on the Arrival Date, we may charge the Credit Card the full amount outstanding for that Reservation calculated with reference to the Arrival Date, the length of stay and tariff for the Reservation.
In the event that you cancel a Group Booking, no refunds will be payable to you.
